The startup specializing in digital simulation and serious game training in healthcare raises 3.5 million eurosfrom Epopée gestion, Breizh Up and Vivalto SAS.
Founded in 2018 by Vincent-Dozhwal Bagot and Guillaume Maquinay, Simango designs digital and immersive e-learning modules in the healthcare field, using digital simulation, serious games and mobile learning.
The company has developed a catalog of some forty training courses, some of which are accredited by the ANDPC (Agence Nationale du Développement Professionnel Continu) in the form of short, entertaining modules accessible online.
The company is both a training organization and a publisher of immersive 3D modules for staff serving patients in healthcare establishments.
Its first serious game, entitled "the room of errors", is dedicated to patient rooms and aims to detect all possible errors in different departments or risk situations through 14 scenarios.
Based on virtual reality, each 30-minute scenario focuses, for example, on hygiene protocols, care or emergency procedures.
Simango currently has almost 300 healthcare establishments and nursing schools subscribing to its platform, including the CHU de Poitiers, Vivalto Santé and Hôpital Paris Saint-Joseph.
The Rennes-based startup has already trained over 100,000 people using its content.
This round of financing will enable Simango to expand its training catalog and develop its solution internationally.
