Founded by Patrick Maurice, Véronique Maurice, Sarah Jaouani and Florent Galland, the Lyon-based start-up Dougs offers an online accounting management tool, invoicing software and services linked to business creation. It now has over 14,000 customers and annual recurring revenues of €15 million. Self-financed since its launch in 2015, Dougs has just announced a fundraising of 25 million euros to support its project.
Dougs offers a complete range of online accounting services for VSEs, self-employed people, shopkeepers, craftsmen and professionals. Their offers include an accounting management tool, invoicing software, business start-up services, payroll outsourcing and tax and balance sheet preparation. Dougs offers a dashboard that is synchronized in real time with the customers' bank accounts and experienced advisors are on hand to answer customers' questions.
The 25 million euros raised will be used to expand the team from 250 to 500 employees, to increase operational capacity, and to support an international presence in Germany and the UK, countries with similar accounting objectives to France.
Dougs' financial due diligence was carried out by the 2CFinance Transaction Services team: Jacques Haccoun, Julien Solyjan and Faustine Million.
